1.Scope
These Terms of Sale apply to every paid transaction concluded on lutalivrefederation.com between the International Luta Livre Federation, as seller, and you, as buyer.
They are accepted at the moment you confirm your order, and they prevail over any other document. They complement our Terms of Use, which continue to apply.
2.What is sold

3.Prices
Prices are shown in euros (EUR) and include any applicable taxes. The price that applies is the one displayed at the time you confirm your order.
- Membership licence: set by the Federation for each season and displayed before payment. It is currently EUR 20.00 per season.
- Competition entries: set for each event, with a separate rate for adults and for children, and a late-entry rate applied after the date published for that event.
- Shop items: the price shown on the product page, plus a flat delivery charge of EUR 5.00 added at checkout.
The Federation may change its prices at any time. A change never affects an order already confirmed.
4.Placing an order
You select the licence, the event entry or the items you want, check the summary presented to you, provide the information needed to complete the order, and confirm payment.
The contract is formed when payment is confirmed by our payment provider and the confirmation is sent to the email address linked to your account or given at checkout.
Before confirming, you can review and correct the details of your order at each step. Confirming means you accept these Terms of Sale.
An order may be refused for a legitimate reason, in particular an unresolved dispute over a previous order, an out-of-stock item, or an entry that does not meet the eligibility conditions for the event.
5.Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS certified payment provider bound by a GDPR-compliant data processing agreement. Payment is made by bank card, with strong customer authentication where your bank requires it.
Card details are entered on a secure form supplied by the payment provider. The Federation never receives, sees or stores your full card number. We only keep the amount, the currency, the status and the reference of the transaction.
A licence, an entry or an order is only confirmed once payment has actually been received. If a payment fails or is not completed, the corresponding reservation is released and stock is returned to sale.
6.Delivery of shop items
Items are shipped to the delivery address you enter at checkout. It is your responsibility to make sure that address is correct and complete.
Orders are prepared within a few working days of payment, then handed to the carrier. A tracking number is added to your order once it has been dispatched.
Delivery times depend on the carrier and the destination and are given for guidance. If an item has not reached you within thirty days of dispatch, write to contact@lutalivrefederation.com so that we can investigate with the carrier.
On receipt, check the parcel. If it is damaged or the contents do not match your order, note it with the carrier where possible and tell us within a reasonable time.
7.Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have fourteen days to withdraw from a distance purchase, without giving a reason. The way that right applies depends on what you bought.

Items that have been personalised, or sealed items unsealed after delivery for reasons of hygiene, cannot be returned.
8.Cancellation and refunds
- Event cancelled or postponed by the Federation: entry fees are refunded in full, or carried over to the new date if you prefer.
- Athlete withdrawing from an event: send your request to contact@lutalivrefederation.com before entries close for that event. Refunds after that point are at the Federation's discretion, since places, brackets and logistics are already committed.
- Entry cancelled by the Federation because the athlete is not eligible: refunded in full, unless the ineligibility results from false information.
- Membership licence: not refundable once issued, except where a payment was taken twice or in error.
- Shop order: cancellable at no cost as long as it has not been dispatched.
Refunds are made to the payment method used for the original transaction. The time it takes to appear on your statement depends on your bank.
9.Legal guarantees
Items sold in the shop carry the legal guarantee of conformity and the guarantee against hidden defects, in the conditions provided by law. These guarantees apply regardless of any commercial warranty and at no cost to you.
To make a claim under one of them, write to contact@lutalivrefederation.com describing the item and the defect, with photographs where relevant.
10.Liability
The Federation is liable for the proper performance of the obligations set out in these Terms of Sale, in the conditions provided by law. It is not liable for a failure attributable to you, to an unforeseeable act of a third party unconnected with the supply of the service, or to circumstances beyond its control.
Entry to a competition gives the right to take part in it under the conditions announced. It does not guarantee a number of matches, a particular bracket format or a result.
11.Disputes
In the event of a difficulty, contact us first at contact@lutalivrefederation.com. We answer every request and look for a solution.
If you are a consumer, you may also be entitled to refer the matter to an out-of-court consumer mediation scheme.
These Terms of Sale are governed by French law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection provisions in force in your country of residence if you reside in the European Union.
